A recessed metal frame holds a removable tray. Add a matching piece of your finished floor to the tray, place it into the frame and keep the vent visually connected to the surrounding surface.

From duct opening to finished floor
A simple four-step system.
The vent size is based on the opening in the floor. The matching material comes from your flooring project, which helps the insert follow the same colour, pattern and direction.
Choose the finish
Select Sandtex Black for a strong outline or Sandtex White for a lighter frame.
Prepare the insert
Cut and secure a compatible offcut of the finished flooring inside the removable tray.
Place the tray
Set the tray into the frame. It remains removable for access and cleaning.

The centre tray is recessed so it can hold a properly prepared piece of the surrounding finished floor. The outer metal frame remains visible and the open perimeter allows airflow.
Is the flooring insert included?
No. Use a matching offcut from your flooring installation so the direction, colour, pattern and finish coordinate with the surrounding floor.
Which flooring materials can be used?
The tray can be used with compatible tile, stone, hardwood, engineered wood, vinyl, laminate and carefully prepared carpet inserts.
Can the centre tray be removed?
Yes. The centre tray remains removable after installation for access and cleaning.
